Dance local - RSCDS Cape Town Workshop - Monday 19 November

The RSCDS Cape Town Branch will be offering a 2 hour workshop on Monday 19 November 2018 to be taught by experienced, RSCDS qualified teacher Heather Hodgson.

The cost will be R25 for RSCDS members and R40 for non-members. This will include refreshments (tea, coffee and biscuits) as well as a handout with cribs and diagrams for the dances and formations to be taught.

Venue: St Margaret's Anglican Church Hall, Kommetjie Road, Fish Hoek

Time: 20:00-22:00

Come and enjoy some proudly South African dances devised by local devisors including Andrew Hodgson, Wouter Joubert and Val Hodgson.

Formations to be taught and revised include:

• Set and rotate for 3 couples

• ‘Littlecroft’ formation

• Rights and lefts for 3 couples

• Highland Schottishe Poussette

The workshop will be aimed at Intermediate to Advanced dancers. If you would like to check if you will cope and enjoy the workshop or for further details contact Heather.
