There will be Burns songs, poetry, together with the “Address to a Haggis” and, of course, “The Immortal Memory”. The programme will also include dancing for all and the skirl of the pipes. Honoured guests include the British High Commissioner to South Africa, Mrs Judith Macgregor and her husband John.

Flyers can also be downloaded for 2 events a little further afield where profits are for local charities.. A Celtic evening and ceilidh will be held in Greyton on 25 January organized by the Overberg Red Cross and the Rotary Club of Franschoek will be having a Burns Night Supper at Simonsvlei Wine Estate on Friday 24 January.
The Cape Town Burns Supper Club will be holding a special 20th Anniversary Burns Dinner at Kelvin Grove, Newlands on Saturday 15 February 2014.
As you can see there is no shortage of options to commemorate Robbie Burn's birth and eat haggis!
